Benjamin got to go camping overnight up our own little canyon on Friday night! We were all going different directions that day, so our neighbors with a son Ben's age offered to bring him with them on their adventure! He reported, "It was so beautiful. I slept great and I woke up to the bird's singing." I love, love, love that he got to do that! He had a great time.  In other news, he had his elementary school track meet this week and he did great! That boy is fast! In his heat for the 800, he ran 6th place until the last 200 meters when he put on the speed, passed 3 boys and came in third. Fun times!

Bethany also had a track meet this week. Hers was on Friday and we didn't get to go, but she ran the 100 hurdles, the 200, and the 400. She says she was pretty tired afterwards! She played with her friend, Olivia, for much of the day Saturday. They like doing crafts and imagination games together.

Cali and Cheyenne had their last week of spring league tennis. They finished with a tournament on Friday and Saturday. At each level, they each played a singles match and a doubles match, then their score as a team determined whether they moved to the next level. Cali and Chey ended up winning every match they played this weekend, both winning all six matches they ended up playing. Their team won the whole shebang! Kevin and I watched them all of Saturday morning and they were really playing some great tennis. It was fun!

Savannah is enjoying her bird. She often comes upstairs with Sunflower on her shoulder. Sunflower also has a limit on how late she'll let Savannah sleep in! So, Savannah wakes up to a bird singing every morning! Savannah also went to her friend's wedding reception on Friday night. She brought home a giant bowl of fruit which Cheyenne thought was fabulous!

On Friday, Kevin and I got to see Les Miserables performed at the Hale Theatre in Salt Lake! It was soooooo good! I was worried that it wouldn't be "as good" as other times I've seen it, but, it was amazing! The story, the music, the hope--all of it is so inspiring. I'm so glad we went.
