This week we went to Palisades!  This is our third year in a row that we have gone the hour and a half south to this lovely lake, campground, and beach.  We love it there!  We packed up on Monday and checked in around 4.  Grandma and Grandpa Gazdik came down with their trailer, as usual, too!  That's another one of our favorite things about camping at Palisades!

Since pictures are worth a thousand words, I am going to regale you with photos this week.  They are not in any particular order!

So, yes, we had three days of amazing weather and then it rained.  We weren't upset, though, it was great timing!  When we left Springville, the city had been encased in smoke all week from the wildfires throughout Utah.  Somedays there was even ash floating down from the sky.  At Palisades, we were downwind from the fires and finally found blue skies and fresh air!  But still, we were grateful for the rain for all of Utah when it finally started falling in the wee hours of Thursday morning.  Not to mention, we had nice cool weather for taking down the tent!

It was a fun week.  Friday and Saturday we recovered and remembered how to live at home.  Now we are all well-rested and ready for a new adventure next week!
