Ben is finishing up his classes and taking final tests. He's doing well on them and will finish with good grades! In seminary, one of the final things he did was play his guitar and sing, "I Need Thee Every Hour." How brave! How inspiring to be willing to be vulnerable to bring about good. I love that he did that and am so impressed by him! He worked Friday night and two shifts on Saturday in his lifeguarding job. His favorite game right now has to do with designing prisons so when he told me that the new high school looks like a prison, I thought it meant he liked it! But no, he told me he could have designed a much better prison. Maybe someday! Also, he went with Cheyenne and they both got their hair cut!
Speaking of Cheyenne, she finished her semester at MTech! Go Cheyenne! She is halfway to being an LPN! She has the summer off from MTech so she signed up for a particularly hard class at UVU and has already shifted into doing that schoolwork! This weekend she went to Colorado to visit Tyler who she thinks is "so great." We miss her, but love how she is true to her advenurous spirit!
Savannah got to see Peter most days this week and really enjoys being with him. He leaves tomorrow to visit Japan with his family for ten days! I think she will miss him, but she has a lot of projects that will keep her busy here, as well.
Bethany's energy has been pretty low all week. We think because of her medication changing. She still has gone to work and to the gym, though, and her passport arrived, so she has a ticket to the world! On Friday night, Claire and Analiese came over to hang out and she had a really good time.
Saturday evening we had a real treat as Avery had her first ballet recital! What a beautiful little dancer she is!! She smiled through the whole thing and did her part so well! It was so fun to see her on stage!
I had a lovely mother's day last week. Ammon and McKay took care of the main dishes and we ate outdoors in Jim and Naoma's pavilion. We forgot to take pictures when everyone was there, but I love all my people! Also, my kids pooled their money and bought me a robo-vacuum which I love!
Saturday morning, I went on another hike. This time I went to Fifth Water Hot Springs. This hike follows a river all the way to a small waterfall with several small pools of hot springs underneath it. It is beautiful every step of the way!
