The weather has been so nice this week! It's been sunny and in the 60s. In February!?!! I sat outside to brainstorm and read on Friday afternoon. On Saturday, I played outside with my grandkids. It was lovely to spend time without a roof, with only sky and trees above me and mountains all around. We live in such a beautiful place, and I loved getting the rare chance to enjoy it in winter.
Ben did not run very much this week. His friends that he usually runs with were sick, so he chose to come home instead. He tried to get caught up on homework but he's also found a game that he LOVES and he's having a hard time sacrificing it for his long-term goals. Such is the struggle of life, no? The game is called Forge. He probably would have spent all day Saturday playing it, but his friend Kyler, who moved to Salt Lake City, came down to visit and Ben was thrilled to get a chance to reconnect with him.
Beth finished her fourth week on Ozempic this week and she is pleased to be losing weight. Sadly, we are not noticing an increase an energy which her specialist said "could" happen. Instead, she has been experiencing nausea and headaches. In spite of that, she did do her two workouts with her trainer and worked at Funfinity three times this week. So we'll call that a win.
Cheyenne continues to succeed in nursing school. When she is home, she is studying. There seems to always be a test or thing to pass off the next day. This has not at all dampened Cheyenne's pursuit of all things both athletic and social! She organized two basketball games this week and attended both the UVU basketball games this week as its biggest fan. At the last one, she was again in the half-time contests and this time won Suite tickets (including food!) for two to a Jazz game. She was super excited!
Savannah is dating Peter. I notice her being both more happy and more anxious at once. She is trying to figure out her emotions and stay in the game. We are rooting for her success!

Kevin is looking around at new employment opportunities. He can stay where he is, he's just not sure he wants to, so he's trying to figure it out. In the meantime, his foot is feeling better, and he was able to play tennis on Saturday. He is really enjoying his gym membership, too, and goes as often as he can to work out and to do the sauna, cold plunge combo. It's his new favorite thing!
