Beth performed in Les Mis on Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday this week. We all went to watch it and some of us twice! Kevin and I went on closing night and thoroughly enjoyed it once again! Such a feast of talent. We're so glad that Beth has a passion for performance in musical theatre. It brings her joy and us, too!
Benjamin went to NXR (Nike Cross-country Regionals) this weekend in Arizona. The race was Saturday but the team left on Thursday so Ben had quite the adventure! A trip with his friends had him very excited when he left Thursday morning and when he got back this afternoon, he was exhausted and went straight to bed! He reports having a great time! He also ran into his cousin, Liam, while he was there!
Earlier this week, Beth and Ben had their last volleyball game! Kevin and I came to watch and it was super fun! They even won! I love that they've found this new sport to enjoy together. Go Yellow Team!
Cali and I did lots of wedding planning this week on top of her usual work and homework. She also did extra temple shifts to make time for our vacation next week and did volunteer hours for her social work class. This time she worked at the Warming Center in Provo and really felt good about that service that is being offered to the unhoused.
Cheyenne got accepted to the MTECH Nursing Program!!! Woot Woot!! She starts January 5th. We are so pleased she will be able to start training in the field she has chosen! She is hoping she will still be able to attend UVU sporting events especially basketball games as it is one of her favorite things to do! She has been busy with that all week in addition to class, homework, work, and temple, as well!
Savannah has done a lot of babysitting for her sisters this week especially as they all needed to go see Beth in her play! This is definitely one of her strengths!
Kevin continues to be busy being the YSA ward bishop, working, and recording and editing podcasts. We were able to go to the temple this week together and that was great! We also co-taught a lesson in church this Sunday. My biggest news, though, is that I turned in the last of my work for my MSW program and I'm done!! Woot woot! I did a little dance in the living room after I pushed submit. It was a happy dance!
