Cali started school on Monday! She seems to like all her classes and says she likes her Family Processes class best so far. She is excited about the organ shoes she needed to buy for her organ class, though, and her ultimate Frisbee class sounds like it has the potential to be a ton of fun, too! She has cut down her hours at work but is still working. With all of that and trying to spend as much time with Richmond this week as possible, she's been busy! Richmond gets set apart for his mission today. We are excited for him!

Cheyenne looks like she is in the middle of her semester rather than just the second week. She is writing papers and reading textbooks and taking notes like a crazy person! She and her roommates were thinking of going to their friend's cabin for the weekend since it's Labor Day, but they all decided against it because of all the homework. Ah! College life.

They both took some time on Saturday to go to Splash Summit one last time with Bethany. Richmond went too and Beth's friend, Macie. Ben opted out because he wasn't feeling well. They said they had a good time! Afterwards, Sarah, McKay, Megan, and Ammon came over and we had burgers together and played gaga ball. It was really fun.

Mariah had her first race in her cross country season on Saturday! They ran at NAU, home of the national champs and an elevation that makes us normal people winded walking up a flight of stairs. And she did great! She came in as Utah Tech's seventh runner. She's pretty much a rockstar and we are super proud of her.

Beth and Ben had karate this week. Beth had cross country practices and they even asked her to be team captain! Ben had guitar and tennis. We watched a movie together Saturday night after everyone left. We are hanging in there, trying to make good use of our house that suddenly feels empty too often.

I've been sick all week with a bad cold. But I did work on my class and my book. I even went clothes shopping with Megan and Cheyenne. Megan knows all the best places! It was fun.

Kevin's company is working on developing a system that would use tech to determine when a person is stressed and then offer coping strategies in real time. Apparently it is an exploding field and they are exploring what they can add to the options out there.
