Benjamin was sick again this week. Poor guy! He wasn't able to go to school on Monday or Tuesday and probably should have stayed home Wednesday, too, but he really wanted to go back. I told him to call me if his headache came back (usually a sign of when the fever came back), but he made it all day! He had a painful sore throat but that seems to be gone, too. Yay! He was able to go to karate on Thursday and had a make-up lesson for guitar on Saturday. He's going to work an hour a month for me to pay for his new Minecraft realm and he's already connected with a couple of his friends there. They are very excited!

Bethany had track practice all week and is having great fun with that. She went to karate on Tuesday and Thursday and hung out with friends Friday and Saturday nights. She has started watching Vampire Diaries. Megan loved that show when she was a teenager, too. Maybe we can get her to watch some of the less violent shows Megan liked, too! Ha ha.

Cali had a less-stressful week than last week! She had time to read some books and practice piano. She also applied for several scholarships. She tells us that this year's applicants for scholarships is 8x what it was last year! So, she is not super hopeful but I am proud of her for giving it a chance and doing the work involved.

Chey had a track meet this week that went until 10pm--on a Wednesday! We think these sports events should better guard the physical needs of its student-athletes. Chey pulled through, though. She's also been getting things in order for UVU next year including going to an orientation for UVU Honors and signing up for housing at Wolverine Crossing. Exciting! She also still finds time to work a couple of days in assisted living with her CNA.

Mariah has fallen into a nice flow working for Provo Rec and Springville Rec. She registered for her fall classes at Dixie (which will be Utah Tech in the fall) and is feeling excited about those! She was also able to hang out with some of her "gal pals" this week in addition to Kolby and ever-increasing miles to run.

Savannah substituted for a dance class at Salem High one day this week and loved it! She also went to a holistic doctor this week to help with stomach troubles and sleep and maybe everything. We are hopeful the things she starts to try will help with her health!

Kevin has been trying to support Mariah in her running and has subsequently increasing his own miles. On Saturday, he ran with Mariah for ten of her thirteen miles! When he's not running or working, he is playing online Catan or Ticket to Ride.

I walked every day this week! Go me! I also finished two of my papers for my independent study social work class. I am super glad those are done. Utah is starting to turn green and you can go outside and look around and enjoy it instead of hurrying to someplace warmer. I really like that! Yay spring!

On Saturday, we celebrated Ammon's birthday! His birthday was on Friday. We had hamburgers and "pumpkin style pie." Then us girls watched Women's Conference, including Sarah and Megan, while Ammon studied. We finished off with a big game of Acquire. Fun times!
