On Sunday, we celebrated Cali and Cheyenne's 17th birthday! They are such great kids! I just love having them in my life and I always have! What a blessing they continue to be. On Sunday, Sarah, McKay, Megan, Ammon, Grandma, and Grandpa Gazdik all came! We had birthday dinner, presents, and birthday cake! It was so fun to have so many of us together and to celebrate the twins.

The twins had tennis matches on Tuesday and Thursday. On Tuesday they played as a doubles team and they did a lot of great stuff but they eventually lost. For the Thursday match, coach decided to shake things up. He had Cali play third singles and brought up another player to be Chey's partner at first doubles. Chey and her partner won in a great match. Cali played HARD for two hours, long after everyone else was done but eventually ceded the win. Plus, she's had a bad cold all week and that makes playing more difficult, especially playing that long! Hopefully, things will go better next week!

Chey continues to love her CNA training. She also continues to love trips to SLC and took the Front Runner up to Murray on Saturday to visit Jens.

Cali continues to study for the ACT and fight her cold. She worked at Funfinity on Saturday in a six-hour shift. When she got home, she and I (and later Beth) watched a movie together.

Bethany ran in cross country practices all week and went to karate twice. She had a couple of friends from school come over Friday night to watch a scary movie. Then on Saturday, a few of her friends from the ward were able to play for a long time. That makes for a fun weekend!

Benjamin is becoming more comfortable at the middle school. He also went to karate twice this week and rode his bike down to his friend, Boston's house a couple of times. On Saturday, he hung out with Beth and the neighbor friends.

Savannah worked this week and made us dinner (salmon and french fries!) and on Saturday, harvested honey from her beehive!! They (she and Bro. Berger) worked for probably five hours smoking bees, taking out the frames, and finally taking them to his house to spin the honey out. She said they harvested 65 pounds of honey!! Bro. Berger and his son claim that it was beginner's luck. We're proud either way.

Kevin played in a tennis tournament on Saturday! He and a friend played doubles and they got killed! In all fairness, they played teams much more advanced than themselves. Still, proud of them for giving it a go and engaging in something they enjoy!

As for me, it's sunflower season in Utah! I've been walking and writing and working on my website. It's very bare bones, but it's up! You should sign up for my newsletter so I can see if it works.  www.katyskinner.com  I also went walking with Robin again. It was so fun to catch up with her!
