That night we got a visit from two of Savannah's past mission companions! Sister Liao and Sister Penrod are both back from their mission in Toronto and going to school at BYU. They thought it'd be a hoot to come see us, and we did, too! They brought lots of pictures of Savannah as well as their love for her. The first time they told a story about "Sister Skinner" I thought they were talking about me! But they weren't, of course! They said seeing us in person was like meeting celebrities because they had heard so much about us and seen our pictures. Ha! We felt the same way about meeting them! It was so fun and made Savannah feel closer which was the biggest blessing of it all.
On Tuesday, we had YW in Excellence. Since Meg and Mariah already have their medallions and Cali and Chey got their books two weeks ago, none of our daughters received ribbons this time. It was still a lovely evening in the beautiful backyard of one of our new members and even had a waffle bar! Beth and Ben even loved it. We love our beautiful YW!
On Thursday, Cali and Chey had their second tennis match of the week. They lost again on Tuesday but had their first win on Thursday! It was very exciting! They sure are loving tennis whether they win or lose. It's fun to see.
Friday, Springville High School's XCountry team had an invitational here! Megan rejoined the competitive ranks of her team and ran in her first race. She did great and it was so fun to see her run again! Mariah ran, too, and did super. She was one of the second, third, and fourth runners who came in together and helped their team to their first-place victory.
