Look who thinks he can sit up!
And boy, is he pleased with himself! At first, he could just stay upright for a few seconds, but he keeps working on it, and he’s up to several minutes. I think it is great. He is much happier sitting up! I like happy!
We had the carpets cleaned this week! If you listen closely, you can hear the hosts of angelic choirs singing in joyous relief . . . Well, I can anyway. It was a big project. But I also managed to do another one of these (not on the same day!) -- That was a sight that made me very happy, too! There’s nothing like seeing them all done. I finished listening to Alcatraz and the Evil Librarians while I did the tomatoes and that is a silly book! :)
I also managed to get away and see one of Savannah’s cross country meets this week, too. She had the cutest spectators there to cheer her on: Go Savannah!
She did great! She ran this same course two weeks ago and improved her time by almost a full minute! We think maybe it was because she very badly wanted to get back to her book. This was her on the way to the meet:
Funny girl. I don’t know where she gets that . . . Anyway, it is great fun to watch her run.
This week was also the carnival at the elementary school. Megan, Mariah, Cheyenne, and Calianne went together. I got this picture of them toward the end when I went to drag them back home. :)This week was Mariah’s last soccer game. I’m kind of sad because she was such fun to watch! I also forgot my camera. Dang it! I did get this one picture on my phone. She is one competitive little soccer player!

I can't believe how big Benjamin is getting. It's amazing how quickly time flies, especially in the beginning.
I also can't believe you didn't tell us what book Savannah was reading. You should be ashamed.
I imagine there will be some reference to the newly designed leaf hotel next week?
